You can hear the "Song of the Misty Mountains" here, and also read a brief article about it.  I'm happy to report that the songwriter, Neil Finn, suggests that "pop music needs more anvil."  What's not to like?

Re: the icon. The Dark Muse suggested that, knowing full well that on my hard drive, there's a half-baked draft of a story that addresses his forays into necromancy. I expect he was just tossing me a crumb after I bitched and whined at him about being so intransigent with regard to recreational writing.
