B2MEM: Checklist & Day One Ledger
Feb. 29th, 2012 05:26 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
- My trusty little notebook, which will have a daily entry for each card & any random scribbles/sketches I might be possessed to make throughout the day. This lives in my backpack now.
- A mobile version of the player page, which the mods were good enough to set up for me so that I can access the prompts easily on my mobile. When I'm ranting at you all here, I'm usually swiping wifi from the school or a cafe, as the internet doesn't live in my apartment, you see. So staying on top of things with my mobile is important, n'est-ce pas?
- A bookmark on my mobile of the little .png image of the daily prompt from the SWG homepage. I think this should work out best for accessing the numbers on the wee thing.
- A folder for image files of all my cards. This will work well for times when I'm actually on the laptop online when the day's number is called. The card images are filenamed according to the groups into which I placed them, so with the default Win picture viewer thing I can flip through them efficiently to see which prompts I have been visited with. I decided I preferred this to a spreadsheet.
- 130-odd MP3s on the mobile which I whimsically/incisively selected while rummaging through my audio folder last night. An eccentric assembly, anything from Rammstein to the Tolkien Ensemble to selections from the Prince of Egypt soundtrack.
- SANITY. HAHAHA. HAH.
....ehhh...
--ha.
And in case the notebook runs away...I'm setting this down by date, card #, then [_my self-selected group/theme_] and [- the cards "and prompts"] for that group.
Ledger: 1 Mar.
I18
_Istari_
- Beasts "Hawk"
- Landscape "Hill"
- Textures "Splintery"
_Huan_
- 1st Lines "When shall we meet again in thunder, lightning, or in rain?" - Shakespeare, Macbeth
_eccentric_
- Alt. Viewpoints "The Tower of Cirith Ungol"-RotK
Commentary: I love the way the Istari prompts will work out. They place me perfectly at the scene I wanted to have chronologically first. Ideas brewing for Huan, but I do love that The Bard factors into my first day of this madness.
