Although satirical, this is not altogether inaccurate, especially if one has access to a broad sample including WIPs.

Ahahaha, I finally got to read your story that's been sitting on an open tab since you posted here about it, and then I come here and this is the first thing I see. Although this summary may not describe "Brain Fog" exactly, it does bear a passing resemblance to college life (minus most of the physical violence)...

Finally? Man, I often take a lot longer to read stories (and sometimes the tabs close through computer hijinks, and then I can't remember what was open where, and then I feel like a tool...) Thanks for your comment at SWG!

I dunno, isn't traditional college life supposed to include "people get laid"? Although, since I am a non-traditional-aged college student, I suppose my college life would resemble this summary more closely if "somebody finds a lot of dead squirrels on the weekends when nobody is there to clean them up" were included.

Hah! Good to know I've done something the Professor might approve of. Although the other thing you always know about Tolkien characters is that they are very tall and regal of bearing, and 99 percent of mine are totally not. Maybe that should've gone in the summary: *everyone is a physically unimpressive weakling, except for like two people*
