Dreamwidth bandwagon

Testing the crosspost thing. I'm getting a bit sick of LJ's shenanigans so I've decided to follow everyone else's shining proactive example.

ETA - so for those who are messed about with this cross-journaling thing longer than I have, pray tell: Where does one go to export one's prior LJ entries to DW? Is there a way to follow one's LJ-based f-list from one's Dreamwidth account?

Here's how to import: http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=127 (I suggest waiting until LJ's more reliable, because it'll fail like crossposting entries can.)

I'm not sure there's a way to follow LJ's flist on here, because of the privacy locks.

Thanks! I was bracing myself for it to take a while or to keep hiccuping, but fortunately for me it worked like a charm and had all my LJ stuff imported within minutes.
