The coat is marvelous, isn't it? I keep wondering what fabric it is made from. I suppose I could ask on my LOTR Costume group, they usually are pretty up on these things. After that, any competent tailor should be able to fit a jacket to you with the fabric. I'd check out students at your school or people who are working costumes at your theatre. Not everyone wants to be on stage. I know I always worked things like lighting, sound, and costumes, preferring to be behind the scenes rather than acting which never did much for me at all.
If you can find an amateur to do the tailoring and sewing, you might be able to get into that jacket for $100 or so. Not bad.
