=D Curumo has been living in my brain discussing life, the universe and everything with me long enough now that I have to try not to show overt favoritism (and doubt I entirely succeed).
Pallando is actually one of my most favorite of my characters. And his and Alatar's robes...I’m -still- trying to figure out an acceptable reason for them both to have been blue, but I decided at any rate to give them shades very distinct from each other.
One of the self-serving functions of this story is that it’s sketching a framework for much more involved tales I probably won’t get round to writing for years. This errs on the lighter side largely because I’m trying not to poke around in their heads too much; my Serious Business headcanon is still dealing with these folks some 6,000 years before this, and as yet I'm fairly clueless as to what all befalls them in the interim.
