Ah, have finally gotten around to reading your Istari WiP, and glad I did! I love the idea of the wizards are somewhat cranky old men, not yet accustomed to their mortal bodies. My favorite is probably your very scientific Curumo, fretting over his forceps and waxing on the self-sustaining geophysical processes of Middle-earth. I can see why he's your favorite. Also a treat to see Alatar and Pallando, of whom we know so little, and to see them get their own personalities (and shades of blue--I've sometimes wondered about that). The tone is light and whimsical without being cloying or anachronistic. I very much look forward to reading more about this quintet.
