Aw, poor Angandil! I like this portrait of Saruman as singularly indecisive, attracted yet incapable of committing - because, perhaps, he's not a very good Musician in the end. He doesn't have a good sense of timing, as it were - he can't think in time with events. Which is certainly something I sympathize with! Well done, Huinarë - thanks for writing this!
